Embroidery files from any picture or name

Your picture, stitched right the first time.

Upload a logo or type a name. BobbinBot cleans it up, digitizes it for your machine, and tells you honestly if it will sew well.

A real run of our own test drawing: 6,305 stitches, 70.4 × 70.4 mm. The last picture is a simulation, not a photo of thread.

Three jobs, done right.

Most files fail on the machine, not on the screen. These are the three places it goes wrong.

Fix the picture.

Blur, noise, and soft edges become flat colors that thread can show.

Stitch it for your machine.

Your format, your hoop, and stitch types chosen for the size.

Get it right the first time.

A verdict before you pay, and a test patch to sew before the real thing.

Cleanup

Messy picture? We fix it first.

Blurry JPGs, gradients, hairline details, and fake embroidered pictures get redrawn as flat color that thread can show.

Your call. You see before and after, and you can keep your original.

Format, hoop, and size are part of the file, so it is aimed at the machine you named.

Not sure of the model? Pick the hoop you own. That is what decides the size.

The check

Know before you sew.

Green, yellow, or red before you pay, with one-tap fixes for anything risky.

Plain reasons. Every warning says what will go wrong on the fabric, not just a number.
How we check
green
Ready to sewNo problems found. Download and stitch the test patch first.
yellow
Sews, with a riskLetters under 5 mm are hard to sew.
red
Will not sew wellThis looks like a photo or a smooth gradient. Thread sews flat colors.

Examples of what the check says. The wording is the real wording.

Lettering

Names that actually sew.

Text is rebuilt with embroidery fonts instead of traced pixels, so the letters stay stitches.

We read it back. Every name is checked with text recognition on the stitch simulation; this one read as “Anna”.

Sew-out kit

Your first sew-out, planned.

Thread order, stabilizer, needle, a placement sheet, and a small test patch to sew first.

Two minutes on scrap fabric tells you more than any preview. The test patch is in every download.

Who it is for

Three kinds of people sew from these files. Each needs something a little different.

Home embroiderers

A name on a shirt without learning a digitizing program.

Type the name, pick the shirt, and sew the test patch tonight.

All questions
Which machines and formats?

PES, DST, EXP, JEF, VP3, XXX, U01, PEC, and TBF. The machine list is a draft until each row is checked, so pick your hoop size if you are not sure of the model.

Will the file open on my machine?

You get the format that brand usually reads, plus the others in a zip. We have not sewn every model, and the verdict says when a design does not fit the hoop you picked.

Which pictures work best?

Flat logos and drawings with a few solid colors. Photos and smooth gradients get a yellow or a red, because thread sews flat color.

What if it does not sew well?

Tell us on the design page. A bad sew-out returns the credit and starts the design again.

Do you keep my artwork?

Unpaid uploads are deleted after 7 days. After you download, the source picture is deleted after 30 days. The stitch file stays so you can download it again.

Can I sell what I make?

Yes, if you own the artwork. The stitch file is yours to sew and to sell as a physical item.

Do I need software?

No. You load the file on the machine the way you already load designs. The viewer on this site is only a preview.

How is this different from hiring a digitizer?

A person who digitizes for a living will still beat a hard logo. BobbinBot is for a first sew-out you can judge before you pay, with the file and a test patch the same day.

Upload your picture. See it stitched in about a minute.
